Conditions We Treat

Foot & Ankle Pain – Many patients are referred to us for treatment of plantar fascitis, metatarsalgia, and immobile joints just to name a few. Pain in this region could be initiated by malalignment, injury or a change in activity and/or footwear.

Knee Pain – Pain in this area can be caused by degeneration over the years, an isolated injury, or muscular imbalance. These situations could lead to conditions such as arthritis, poor patellar tracking, ligament laxity, and more.

Hips & Back Pain – We often treat hip and back pain at the foot level when it is a result of a leg length discrepancy or poor biomechanics. It is important to note that the higher up the body you go, there are other contributing factors to pain that may warrant us to refer you to another health care professional for further investigation.

Leg Pain – There are many common causes of general leg pain. Poor biomechanics and overuse can result in injuries, such as painful shin splints. Circulatory issues like venous insufficiency can also be a common cause of pain in the lower limbs.

Diabetes & Arthritis – Being diabetic subjects you to being a high risk patient due to the loss of sensation, ulcerations, and infection. Arthritic patients suffer with pain due to the continual degeneration of joints. Pedorthic services can reduce the risk of ulcerations and off-load painful areas.

We can begin a treatment plan with a diagnosis from a prescribing professional along with a biomechanics assessment from one of our Canadian Certified Pedorthists.
