What You Can Expect From Us
As Canadian Certified Pedorthists, we provide a biomechanics assessment and gait analysis to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for Orthoses.
The biomechanics assessment includes checking the range of motion of your joints in the feet and lower limbs both standing and seated.
We watch you walk, observing the motion or lack of motion in your feet and upper body. Based on your biomechanics, we educate you on footwear for your individual needs. We may recommend one of our other services or refer you to other health care professionals in order to maximize your progress.
We cast you at the assessment and fabricate your orthotics at our local lab in St. Thomas. This means that you can receive them within 3 to 5 business days and that we can make adjustments on-site while you wait. No waiting for shipping to external labs across the country!
When you come for your fitting, we will make sure the orthoses fit into your appropriate footwear.
